First Direct U.S. to Croatia Flights to Begin

The first direct flights between the United States and Croatia in 20 years will begin on June 3, 2011. The flights are operated by Swift Air and will travel between Chicago and Zagreb’s Pleso airport using a Boeing 767, which has a capacity of 235 passengers. The connection will operate once per week and will layover in Zagreb for a few days before returning to Chicago. The flights will run through September 14th of this year. Swift Air is also planning a direct flight between Chicago and Belgrade.
