A new self-service Laundromat has just opened in Dubrovnik. Sanja & Rosie’s Launderette is located at Put Od Bosanke 2, just outside the Ploce Gate entrance to Old Town. There are several professional washing machines and dryers available and they accept Kuna coins and notes. One washing cycle costs 50 Kuna and dryers are priced at 10 Kuna for 10 minutes. The Laundromat has a funky, retro vibe and is open daily from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm.

Yep, just used it 30 minutes ago.. washing came out of the machine soaking wet with soapy water. Then after hand squeezing, put them into the dryer (used 2 to make sure the clothes dried) after 20 minutes you could still ring out water (nice and soapy). So after spending nearly 13 euros we have wet clothes which are now hanging out on our land ladies line (its 7pm dark and cool so we will have wet clothes tomorrow). Two things you want from a laundry, clean and dry clothes. Massive fail. Same people run a hostel and a now closed bar. Can see why the bar closed..god help anyone staying at the hostel (when it is open!) Oh and did I mention the laundry? Oh I did..it sucks!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience! I've never done laundry there so I can't attest to the quality of the machines. But, I am surprised because the Hostel (Fresh Sheets) and the bar (Fresh...now closed) are both great spots. Fresh was one of the most popular bars in Dubrovnik before the owners closed it to focus on the hostel.

We wish that you had let us know immediately so that we could have made things right for you. However, please feel free to get in touch with us now so that we can at least arrange for a refund.
